Privacy, cookies and storage
How Klay Interiors handles the personal information you give us through this website. Last updated 26 September 2026.
What we collect and why
We collect what you type into our contact and checkout forms, what you email us, and the products you choose. We use it to answer you, quote, measure, make and install your order, and deal with any later questions about it.
Our hosting and security providers also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and requests to the website to deliver the site, prevent abuse and investigate faults.

If you don’t give us your contact and installation details we can’t quote, measure or install for you. Room photos you add to the visualiser stay in your browser. They are not uploaded to Klay.
Services that handle your information
We use these providers to run the website, take payments and send email. Most are based overseas, mainly in the United States, so your information may be stored or processed outside Australia. We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.

Links to Instagram take you to Instagram’s own site, where its privacy policy applies. The Instagram pictures on our pages are copies stored on our website, not embedded posts.
Cookies and browser storage
Klay’s own application code does not set cookies or load analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. We do not currently offer optional tracking that needs a preferences banner. Security and payment providers may use cookies or storage as described below.
A few things are kept in your own browser so that the basket and checkout work. They stay on your device, and you can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Stripe’s checkout page and the Cloudflare verification check are run by those companies and may use their own cookies or storage for security and fraud prevention, under their own policies.
Emails, access and complaints
We email you about your enquiry, order and installation. We don’t send marketing emails from this website.
Connections to our website and from it to these providers are encrypted (HTTPS).
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing info@klayinteriors.com.au. Tell us what it is about, and we will reply in writing. If you are not satisfied with our response, or have not heard back within 30 days, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
